Two House Managers, Tracey McKechnie for Bagatelle and Susan Patton for Glenfield, are responsible for the day to day running of each home and Alison Shaw, Head of Care and Registered Manager of both services, will oversee to ensure that GMAS continues to deliver high quality compassionate care to all our residents.

Qualified nursing staff are on duty 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. They are supported by a fully trained team of Physiotherapists, Housekeeping, Catering, Maintenance, Therapy and Head office staff of Admin, finance, fundraising and a wellbeing champion GMAS employs over 150 staff at Glenfield and Bagatelle to provide full time care with nursing support for the 72 residents of both Homes. GMAS is proud to be a Scottish Living Wage and a Disability Confident Employer.

Staff development is seen as important facet of the Society’s ethos. The Nursing staff all hold professional qualifications. Care Assistants and others are encouraged to obtain Scottish Vocational Qualifications, the Society meeting the costs of training with the staff volunteering to give of their own time. In addition, there is an on-going training programme of relevant courses which are attended by all staff thus ensuring continuous professional development.
