Applying & Costs
Applications for admission to Bagatelle Care Home are welcomed from individuals living in the West of Scotland, those with a previous connection to the area, or individuals with family members currently residing locally. There is no discrimination in our admissions process based on religion or financial resources.
Bagatelle Care Home operates a strict No Smoking Policy within the building and its surrounding grounds.
Before Admission
Prior to admission, prospective residents are encouraged to contact the Social Work Department of their local council. This ensures they are fully informed about any financial allowances or entitlements, such as Personal or Nursing Care contributions.

Costs
The Board Rate (reflecting annual operating costs) is detailed in the Admissions Pack.
Residents assessed by their local Social Work Department as requiring nursing or residential care may be eligible for a weekly allowance for free Personal and/or Nursing Care.
If a resident’s financial resources fall below the government-set threshold (currently approx. £21,500), a Care Gap may arise between available funding and the cost of care. As a charitable organisation with limited resources, we respectfully request that families consider making a voluntary contribution toward this gap, where possible, to help us continue delivering high-quality care sustainably.
Important: It is essential that applicants notify their local Social Work Department before admission if they wish to claim any Personal/Nursing Care Allowances or require additional financial support.
